Democratic Candidate for County Executive Pat Ryan Pledges to Take No Corporate or LLC Money.
Gardiner, NY – Today Democratic Candidate for Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan issued the following statement:
“We wall know our campaign finance system in New York State is broken, but I am not going to let that stop me from running a people-powered, grassroots campaign. That is why I am announcing that will not accept ANY corporate PAC or LLC money.”
“Instead of focusing on special interests, my campaign will be about my clear vision for how to lead Ulster County forward; we will accelerate economic growth and ensure it benefits all, we will implement a Green New Deal in Ulster County to create jobs and protect our environment, and will ensure that the County remains a beacon of justice and equality during these turbulent times.”
“I have served our country and led successful small businesses creating hundreds of jobs. I have proven that I will always stand up for my neighbors, my community, and for what I believe in. I am ready to bring my experience and energy to fight for the people of Ulster County.’
