FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Southern Ulster Democrats Line Up Behind Pat Ryan for Ulster County Executive

Gardiner, NY – Today, nearly thirty Democratic Committee members residing in the southern part of Ulster County announced their support for Pat Ryan for County Executive in an open letter. This comes after Ryan was endorsed by the Plattekill and Shawangunk Democratic Committees last week. The signers to the letter represent six town Democratic Committees and include public officials, committee chairs, and leaders within the Ulster County Democrats.

“This is the biggest endorsement to date of any candidate in the race,” said Ryan. “I am thrilled to have a diverse coalition of community leaders behind our campaign for County Executive. I have spent the last several weeks meeting and talking with committee members and leaders in our community about the opportunities and challenges we face as a county. I am confident that together, we can build on the progress made under County Executive Mike Hein and take Ulster County forward.”

Pat Ryan is a fifth generation Ulster County resident and a native of Kingston, NY. He graduated from West Point and served two combat tours in Iraq, before returning home to start two businesses to deliver better technology to our troops overseas.
